By booking a service with Shine Shift Cleaners, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Bookings & Appointments

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or online.

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.

  • Cleaners will arrive as close as possible to the agreed time, but please allow a 30-minute window due to traffic or delays.


2. Scope of Work

  • Shine Shift Cleaners provides domestic, commercial, end-of-tenancy, one-off, office, and Airbnb cleaning services.

  • A clear description of requested services will be agreed upon at the time of booking.

  • Cleaners will only complete services outlined and paid for unless otherwise agreed during the visit.

  • Additional tasks (e.g., ironing, oven cleaning, carpet cleaning) must be pre-booked.


3. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise.

  • We accept cash, bank transfer, or card payments (where applicable).

  • Late payments may incur a £10 administrative fee per week overdue.

  • Recurring services may be invoiced monthly or weekly, depending on agreement.


4. Cancellations & Access

  • You must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time.

  • If cleaners are unable to enter or are turned away, the full or partial service fee may still apply.

  • Shine Shift Cleaners reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to emergencies, staff shortages, or extreme weather.


5. Customer Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for securing any valuables or fragile items.

  • Cleaners will treat your home with care, but Shine Shift Cleaners is not liable for pre-existing damage or fragile/loose fixtures.

  • All pets must be secured or supervised to ensure safety for both animals and staff.


6. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with any part of your clean, please notify us within 24 hours.

  • We will arrange a free re-clean of the affected area(s), subject to review.

  • Refunds are only offered at the discretion of management.


7. Supplies & Equipment

  • Our team brings their own products and equipment unless agreed otherwise.

  • If you request specific products (e.g. eco-friendly), please inform us in advance.


8. Privacy & Data

  • We take your data privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not sell or share your information with third parties, and all data is stored securely.


9. Liability & Insurance

  • Shine Shift Cleaners holds public liability insurance.

  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or theft unless proven to be caused by our team’s negligence.


10. Damage or Breakage

  • Any accidental damage caused during cleaning must be reported within 24 hours.

  • Shine Shift Cleaners will assess the situation and offer repair, replacement, or reimbursement where applicable.


11. Termination of Services

  • Ongoing contracts can be cancelled by either party with 7 days’ notice in writing.

  • Shine Shift Cleaners may terminate service immediately for misconduct, abuse, unsafe conditions, or repeated non-payment.
